Hello all, sorry for not speaking your native "castellano" I can read it a little bit, but not write or speak it.

Have seen some interesting topics and pictures on here, so that I became a member, so I can ask some questions.

Best Regards,

Alex Schmidt

Hi Alex

Welcome to the forum!

I am a collector of English and German materials of ww1 and ww2

I'm currently building a welbike, from a corgi engine, magneto welbike and corgi wheels first period

Argentina welbikes not buy, but if corgi, which are rare but there are some

I will try to be the replica as similar as possible!

regards

Hi All!

Thanks for the welcome!!

Martin, I would think Villiers engines would be easier to find, but in your country maybe not, good luck with the build.

Alex

Hi Alex

mmm ... our country is a basically agricultural export country .. although there were important technical Developments and mechanical, too many things are manufactured cares ...
Were many models and the origins of motorcycles that were imported here, all known models
In the last decades became Argentina, Uruguay and other countries in Meccas for re export these products, being visited by many collectors and buyers of these things
Today there are few parts and if many collections with plenty of antique motorcycles, sports in general
Villiers seen in some events ... but the spare parts are scarce and ... and must turn much (and lucky) to ebay ...... the ups and downs of political import that often give us our political as we used ... but ... we always find a solution .... it is the story of the restoration in Argentina, .. and not now, or this government but .... jajajja entire life ...
I found in a rural town one of the first manufactured corgi, even with spoked wheels ... and modifying the frame .. importing fuel tanks, making the handlebars, and the magneto welbike ... maybe build something seems a welbike!
Also possess a universal carrier T 16 E2 a Willys a BSA folding bike a zundapp 600 ks, and CMPC 15.
The main event in South America of classic cars, called "Autoclásica" and always go with our club military vehicles
